Real talk: Usher is one of the sexiest men on the planet.
This would be the case whether he was shirtless, sweating, and spinning around on stage in front of a hundred million viewers, or if he was sitting, fully clothed, stuffing his face with pizza.
Sunday night in Las Vegas came first.
As you may already know, Usher performed at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show and, according to our unofficial account, the singer got most of the attendees pregnant simply with his mere presence.
The artist stripped naked, skated, and moved his body in ways scientists had never before thought possible.
He also invited Alicia Keys to come on stage to see it up close and personal.
The ridiculously talented singer sang two of her own songs (“Ain't Got You” and “My Boo”) alongside Usher on stage, starting on the piano but eventually ending up, well… in Usher's arms.
There was clear chemistry between the stars, as you can see for yourself in the following images:
After the incredible performance, too many social media users went online and speculated about what Keys must have been thinking during this duet.
“I know Alicia got butterflies when the usher hugged her from behind,” one person wrote, for example.
This comment led others to ask two questions:
FIRST, what should Alicia Keys' husband think of this collaboration?
TWO, who? is Alicia Keys' husband?!?
Keys is married to music producer Swizz Beatz.
They exchanged vows on July 31, 2010 and welcomed their first child, a son named Egypt Daoud Dean, in October 2010.
Their second child, Genesis Ali Dean, was born in 2014.
The spouses were friends before they got together, and Keys wrote in her memoirs years ago:
“The more we talked, the more I noticed how his mind worked. Beyond the baggy jeans and the tattoos on her arms there was depth. She was very aware of what was happening around the world.”
So…what did Swizz Beatz think of his wife getting friendly with Usher at the Super Bowl?
He thought it was amazing, because it's super safe and very supportive.
“You guys are talking about the wrong damn thing!!! Don't you see that incredible dress that covers the entire stadium,” the proud wife wrote on Instagram on Sunday night, including with her message numerous photos of Alicia Keys on stage.
Setting an example for men around the world to follow, he concluded:
Tonight's performance was amazing with 2 amazing Giants! Congratulations @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic.
We don't make negative vibes on this side we make history.
