billy crystal is reviewing the pop culture history site. The actor recently dined at Katz's Delicatessen in New York City, marking his first return to the iconic restaurant since he filmed one of the most iconic movie scenes of all time.
Crystal, 75, was joined by CBS Mornings' King Gayleand the couple sat at the famous table when harry met sallyin which Meg Ryan Sally showed Crystal's Harry how easy it is for women to fake an orgasm.
The instantly recognizable scene left an indelible mark on the romantic comedy genre and immortalized Crystal in New York history, as the city itself plays a huge role in the film's structure. In fact, the table where the scene was filmed has a plaque declaring it as the place “Where Harry Met Sally.”
“I haven't been here since we shot the movie,” Crystal told King, as they walked through the main doors of the Big Apple institution.
According to Crystal, who, along with King, dined on the famous pastrami sandwich that Ryan bit into delivering the legendary on-screen moment, it's “an amazing phenomenon” that the film has had such a lasting impact.
