A heavy metal singer met the not-so-jolly version of Santa in NorCal, where an insult hurled at the guy's town didn't go over so well… although it did hit him.
A deathcore band called Smack'd Up was recently performing in Sacramento at what appears to be some sort of low-key warehouse show…and not at all packed. leader Matt Kupers He was on the microphone and apparently became frustrated with the energy in the room.
He stops his concert to berate the crowd, saying that he thought he was in Sac Town and that the audience would bring him. He throws out some expletives and essentially attacks the residents.
Well, one guy in the crowd, who was dressed like Kris Kringle, didn't like what he was hearing, and rushed Kupers on stage…jumping up and starting yelling at him.
The fight only lasts a few seconds, but ended with Kupers falling and landing on his butt.
It is not known if this led to anything more (legally speaking), but at first glance it seems that they simply left him there in the streets. The lesson… Sacto get on the floor, baby!
