Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Reportedly Plan to Uproot Family

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are probably quite happy at the prospect of saying goodbye to the year 2023.

The Sussexes are closing a year that has been characterized by a succession of annoying setbacks and public relations controversies.

The couple is currently dealing with the fallout from allegations that King Charles and Kate Middleton made racist comments to Meghan while she was pregnant with Prince Archie.

You'd think Charles and Kate would be the ones with their backs to the wall after such a revelation, but as usual, the British tabloids have found a way to blame the Sussexes.

In fact, a prominent UK politician recently called for Harry and Meghan to be stripped of their royal titles.

That almost certainly won't happen, but the lawsuit gives a sense of the reaction to this scandal abroad.

There has been a lot of talk about what kind of measures the Sussexes will take to ensure smoother sailing in 2024.

And although the couple's plans for next year remain a mystery, we know that the main topic on their agenda has to do with the exciting world of Southern California real estate.

Several insiders have now confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to leave Montecito behind to settle in one of the star-studded suburbs outside Los Angeles.

“Every time things get bad for Harry and Meghan, they want to move, it's their modus operandi,” a source close to the couple tells Life & Style.

“They think a new place will be exactly what they need and will solve everything,” the source adds.

“It's usually the same drama in a different place. But their friends and family agree that moving to Los Angeles could be really good for them.”

The couple's interest in Los Angeles real estate has sparked rumors that Meghan plans to return to acting.

And while such a career change may well be in the Duchess' future, it seems like she and Harry are primarily motivated by a desire to have cooler neighbors.

“Everyone is retired where they live now,” the source says.

“It's not very fun or great for them or their kids,” the source adds.

“Harry and Meghan thought they wanted peace and quiet, but this is too much silence and comes at the cost of loneliness.”

Privacy is all well and good, but with their careers on the line, it makes sense that Harry and Meghan would seek to surround themselves with the A-list crowd.

We should all have the option to move next door to a Kardashian when the future seems uncertain!
