Taylor Swift's Eras Tour workout routine: step by step


If you're a Taylor Swift fan, you've definitely worked up a sweat to her classics while hitting the gym.

You've played 'Shake It Off' while on the elliptical machine, or refrained from shouting the lyrics to 'The Man' while lifting weights.

But here's a newsflash: You've never exercised until you've completed Taylor Swift's personal workout routine. Are you ready for it? Well, here it is: three and a half hours on tape, singing the entire time.

Taylor was named Time's 2023 Person of the Year and, with the honor, gave her first interview in years. During the reunion, she revealed that she started getting in shape for Eras six months before the tour began in Glendale, Arizona.

“I knew this tour was a lot harder than anything I'd done before,” he told Time. “Finally, for the first time, I prepared myself physically properly.”

Taylor Swift's workout routine included running on the treadmill every day while singing the entire Eras setlist OUT LOUD! “Fast for fast songs,” she explained, and jog or walk fast for slow songs.”

For those of you who didn't get tickets to the explosive show or rush to the theaters to watch the concert film, Taylor's Eras' set list is 3.5 hours long. That means his training includes not only running for over three hours, but also singing the entire time!

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of just typing that sentence! Phew!

Still, Swifties are always up for a challenge. So if you go to TikTok or Instagram right now, you'll find tons of videos of people doing their best to keep up with Taylor. Most don't succeed without clever editing!

Taylor Swift's treadmill workout wasn't her only secret to staying in shape during the Eras tour.

He also followed a specialized strength, conditioning and weights program at his gym, Dogpound.

And as if that weren't enough, she took three months of dance lessons. She worked with choreographer Mandy Moore, who worked with Taylor's friend Emma Stone on The The Earth. Taylor says Mandy “completely changed my relationship with choreography and somehow got into my brain and figured out exactly how she would think about things.”
